Saturday, October 20 - Today was tour the local wineries day. The area is celebrating Harvest Wine Weekend. More than 140 wineries are hosting some event - mostly wine tasting. While out and
about I visited the newest RV resort in the area -
Cava Robles RV Resort. It is impressive. Made a reservation
for space 25 for next October. There are not many pull-throughs
in the resort - this is one of the nicer ones. Look forward to spending
a week next October in this spot.
Friday, October 19 - At the
Vines RV Resort in
Paso Robles, CA [Pass of the Oaks] for 5 days. On pad 86, elevation
715 feet. This evening the resort had a Sip, Swirl and Socialize
event. There were a number of vendors including reps from
Cellars. Susan and Linda sold me a jar or Orange Marmalade and
Erica provided a taste of their Chardonnay.
Tuesday, October 16 - At the
Resort in Greenfield, CA for 3 days. On pad B-28, elevation
278 feet. I have stayed at this nice RV resort a number of times
while heading south in October. Chris and Jim are also full-timers.
They are staying in the park for a couple weeks. They were out for
their morning walk. We had a nice chat.

Sunday, October 14 - We visited the
Pumpkin Patch. One of the attractions is a slide. Brady won
his race and Lynette won hers against Scott and Charlie. Upon return
to the motor coach Brady and Ashley volunteered to be chauffeurs.
May have to move the gas and brake pedals forward a bit. It will
be nice to be driven to the next destination.

Saturday, October 13 - We celebrated my 80th birthday at the
Trattoria in Sausalito. I was born October 13, 1938 in Export,
PA. Dad was Charles "Ludy" Rebich and mom was Anne Mesich Rebich
Henry. Lynette and I had the Sea Bass - it was great. Food and atmosphere
were outstanding. Thanks for making it a memorable experience.
Some memorable birthday gifts.
