This is the fully furnished kitchen. In the closet are folding tables and chairs that are used in the meeting room.

- At the A Country RV Park in Bakersfield, CA. On pad 1, elevation 416 feet. The park uses WebInACan to allow their guests to view their web site and to make online reservations. I have stayed at this nice park a number of times as I head north or south.

Sunday, October 21
- A Google Street View of 806 South Main Street, Mount Vernon, Ohio shows that the house is being repaired. The house was the subject of an article in the Mount Vernon News in March 2017 - Fire Damaged Home Condemned. Click here to read the article. This is the house that our family grew up in. It is nice to see that it is being reconstructed. We bought it in the early 1950s. Six of us lived there. Mother Anne and step-father Jiggs Henry, sisters Bonnie and Charlene, step-sister Donna and me. My mom lived in this house until she moved to Santa Rosa, CA in the mid-1980s. Saturday, October 20
- Today was tour the local wineries day. The area is celebrating Harvest Wine Weekend. More than 140 wineries are hosting some event - mostly wine tasting. While out and about I visited the newest RV resort in the area - Cava Robles RV Resort. It is impressive. Made a reservation for space 25 for next October. There are not many pull-throughs in the resort - this is one of the nicer ones. Look forward to spending a week next October in this spot.

Friday, October 19
- At  the Vines RV Resort in Paso Robles, CA [Pass of the Oaks] for 5 days. On pad 86, elevation 715 feet. This evening the resort had a Sip, Swirl and Socialize event. There were a number of vendors including reps from Morning Glory Farms and Tobin James Cellars. Susan and Linda sold me a jar or Orange Marmalade and Erica provided a taste of their Chardonnay.

Chris and Jim are also full-timers. They are staying in the park for a couple weeks. They were out for their morning walk. We had a nice chat.

- We visited the Petaluma Pumpkin Patch. One of the attractions is a slide. Brady won his race and Lynette won hers against Scott and Charlie. Upon return to the motor coach Brady and Ashley volunteered to be chauffeurs. May have to move the gas and brake pedals forward a bit. It will be nice to be driven to the next destination.

Lynette and I had the Sea Bass - it was great. Food and atmosphere were outstanding. Thanks for making it a memorable experience.
